HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 28, 2026-- Optime, a Halliburton service, completed the first deployment of the Optime Remote Operated Control System (ROCS) service in Brazil, in collaboration with Petrobras.

ROCS reduces equipment requirements and streamlines offshore execution through the elimination of traditional control umbilicals during completion operations. Petrobras used the system to install a subsea smart completion on a deepwater well.

Halliburton and Petrobras worked closely throughout planning, system integration, testing, and offshore execution to meet the project's technical requirements.
