Halliburton Notifies Holders of Its 3 1/8% Convertible Notes of Option to Require the Company to Purchase Notes

HOUSTON, Jul 07, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Halliburton (NYSE:HAL) announced today that it has provided notice to holders of its 3 1/8% Convertible Senior Notes due July 15, 2023, as required by the indenture governing the Notes, that the holders have the option to require the company to purchase the Notes on August 4, 2008. The purchase of the Notes will be at par, together with accrued and unpaid interest from July 1, 2008 through August 4, 2008.
