Shell Selects Halliburton to Supply High-End Expandable Screens to Meet
Its Global Requirements

HOUSTON, Apr 7, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Halliburton Energy Services, Inc., a business unit of Halliburton Company (NYSE:HAL), has entered into an agreement with Shell International Exploration and Production for the supply of its PoroFlex(R) line of expandable screen products for global Shell consumption. Including options, the contract duration is over three years. Based on information provided, Halliburton estimates that the total competitive contract value is in excess of $166 million over the full contract duration.
